Sword inspired by Solomon, son of David and the third king of Israel in the tenth century BC Famed for his wisdom, he turned his subjects to get an objective opinion in the case of dispute. Solomon's sword has a steel blade engraved with floral motifs for a third. The hilt is cast metal hilt gilt with the arms ending in two winged cherubs, while at the center a brass-plated metal plaque depicting the Ark of the Covenant. The square knob supports a brass-plated metal disc depicting the Star of David. The handle is wooden with a metal circle in the center. Total length 120 cm.
