Small sword of the late eighteenth century, widely adopted by the various regiments of the French army since 1800 through the work of General Gassendi.

Slightly curved steel blade with a wire and tip.

Gold plated hilt zone composed of curved handle and cord wrap-around deck pretending to protect the hand.

Equipped with scabbard wrapped in black leather and metal reinforcements on the toe and collar, it also has button for a sheath.
