Colt model 1851, 6 shots american percussion revolver. Best known as "Navy" revolver, perhaps because of the naval scene engraved on the cylinder of the first guns or perhaps the same Samuel Colt intended this new model fit for the need of the US Navy. Eventually the government bought it in 1851 for all the military. The version here proposed belongs to the first building phase, recognizable by the squared trigger guard. Entirely made in cast metal engraved with arabesques. The wooden butt is ornated with a lone star, badge of the Texas Rangers that used widely the 1851 model. Not fireable. Overall lenght 34 cms.
