The Briquet was a weapon of type sword white manesca supplied with soldiers and non-commissioned officers of the Imperial Guard of Napoleon. He had short single-strand blade, slightly ricurca, and characteristic para-hand grip with a bow made ​​entirely of brass whose guard recalls the tinder mushroom-shaped in use at that time (briquet, in French, means "flint") on muskets.
