Sword supplied to the Roman cavalry between the 1st and 2nd century AD, introduced in the early years of the Empire by the Celts who constituted the backbone of the equestrian corps at that time.

Characterized by a long double-edged steel blade and a point with straight cutting edges. The hilt consists of a reduced guard and bilobed wooden pommel and fake bone grip.

Provided with scabbard covered partly in leather and partly in decorated brass-plated metal.

Total length 84cm.

The blade of this faithful reproduction is made of EN45 spring steel and is not sharp. the handle is made of wood and bone.

The scabbard is made of wood covered in leather with brass fittings.
