From top to bottom: flintlock pistol of the XVIIth century made in Brescia (Italy), with a smooth barrel and a particular shaped butt; "Trombino" (little trumpet) widespread during the XVIII century in southern Italy, also known as "Scopetta" (little brush) with the typical rifle shaped butt; flintlock pistol of the XVII century, coming from the italian city of Brescia, richly ornated and with an octagonal butt; pistol from the italian city of Brescia of the XVII century with a slayed muzzle and metal pommel; french flintlock pistol of the XVIII century, similar to the models made in the workshop of the alsatian arquebusier Johann Haetschweiler and, at last, flintlock pistol of the XVIII century called "Terzetta" due to its small size, made by Giacomo Guarneri, a gunmaker from Brescia, suppliers of firearms for the Neapolitan government.
