Colt model 1849, 6 shots american percussion revolver. Best known as "Dragoon" referred to the famous cavalry speciality. In fact this revolver heavier to be carried at the belt and so they were most commonly carried as a pair in holsters mounted across the horses neck. Entirely made in cast metal with a wooden butt. Produced till 1850. Not fireable. Overall lenght 34 cms.
